Elysian Global and Strutt & Parker Showcase two of London’s Premier Development Projects at Cityscape Dubai

Q3 2016

Elysian Global and Strutt & Parker are showcasing two of London’s most significant development projects at Cityscape Dubai, the largest and most influential real estate exhibition in the Middle East from 6 – 8 September.

The event will be the first time that the landmark One Nine Elms project and Television Centre - the iconic former home of the BBC in London’s White City – have been offered to the Middle Eastern investor market.

One Nine Elms by Wanda One, the UK subsidiary of leading Chinese real estate company Dalian Wanda Group, is a mixed-use development which will elevate standards for vertical luxury living in the capital. Situated on the banks of the River Thames at the gateway to the Nine Elms regeneration area, the development will comprise two new towers, River Tower reaching 42 storeys and City Tower reaching 58 storeys. Designed by world-renowned architects Kohn Pederson Fox Associates, One Nine Elms will be the tallest residential development in central London when complete.

The 1.14 million sqft development will bring a 437 new apartments to the market, alongside the five-star Wanda Vista Hotel. From the sweeping views across the London skyline, to the world class restaurants and bars in the hotel, residents will enjoy state-of-the-art facilities and amenities and the convenience of its zone 1 location. River Tower residents will benefit from hotel services such as a maid and butler on hand to cater to their every need and exceptional cuisine delivered to apartments from the hotel’s restaurants. Prices start from £1,055,000 for a one bedroom apartment on the 33rd floor in City Tower. One Nine Elms is the jewel in the crown of SW8’s dramatic transformation – the largest regeneration project currently underway in Europe - spanning one and half miles of prime central London waterfront.

Television Centre is set to deliver 800 new private homes and apartments, new cafés and restaurants, an independent cinema, new premium office space for up to 5,000 workers and a new outpost for private members’ club Soho House, complete with 47-room hotel. 432 homes are being developed in the first phase, due for completion in 2018, with prices ranging from £700,000 for a one bedroom apartment to £8 million for a penthouse.

Designed by Stirling prize winning architectural practice AHMM, Television Centre offers residents the opportunity to live above three active BBC Television Studios in one of London’s most recognisable buildings opposite Westfield London – the largest shopping mall in Europe.

The development will provide a full suite of amenities, including 24hr concierge and onsite management services, a Cowshed Active health & fitness club, residents’ lounge with private screening room and private courtyard gardens. The scheme is at the heart of a £8 billion ten-year regeneration of the wider White City area bordering Notting Hill and Holland Park, which includes workspaces for 20,000 more employees and a new campus for Imperial College University.

Noman Mahmood, Managing Partner at Elysian Group, said: "London has always been a major investment hub for Middle East nationals and residents. For investors this is an opportune time to expand their existing portfolio or make their first entry into the stable London real estate market. We are very proud to be presenting such exclusive developments at this year’s Cityscape Global in Dubai. Both the developments are in central London and we are expecting interest from both investors and end-users. The historical appeal behind Television Centre and the serviced hotel component in One Nine Elms are key points that will appeal to a wider target market in the Middle East."

Mark Dorman, Head of London Residential Development & Investment at Strutt & Parker, said: “Both One Nine Elms and Television Centre are one-of-a-kind. They stand out from other projects in the capital for their scale and vision. The redevelopment of the iconic BBC Television Centre lies at the heart of White City’s regeneration and offers absolutely everything for potential investors and tenants, from world class shopping to green spaces and affluent surrounding areas. One Nine Elms is the first residential apartment-hotel tower project of its kind to be built in London - the towers will be two of the tallest residential buildings in Western Europe on completion. Both projects offer something ground-breaking and we are excited to bring them to the Middle Eastern market, exclusively at Cityscape.”
