Situation
The Kirk is situated within easy walking distance of all the shops and services available in Aberfeldy. Aberfeldy is a picturesque Victorian town offering banking, medical and education services, as well as a wide selection of individual
shops such as delicatessens, bakeries, art galleries and antique shops. For a more comprehensive range of services, Perth is
about 31 miles to the south.

The Kirk could hardly be better placed for outdoor enthusiasts. There is an endless selection of beautiful walks in the surrounding
countryside, with Glenlyon, Glen Quaich and Glenalmond all within easy distance. Some of Perthshire’s highest hills, including Ben Lawers, Schiehallion, Ben More and Stob Binnein are a short distance west of Aberfeldy. First class fishing is available on the nearby rivers Tay, Lyon, Dochart and Tummell, to name a few.

There are golf courses locally at Aberfeldy, Kenmore, Pitlochry, Taymouth Castle and the famous courses at Gleneagles are about 44 miles away by car. The Scottish Highlands offer skiing at Aviemore, Glenshee and Aonach Mhor and a variety of water sports can be enjoyed on Lochs Tay, Tummel and Earn.

There are a number of popular restaurants in the area, including the Fortingall Hotel, Ardeonaig Hotel (Loch Tay), The Weem Hotel
and Ailean Chraggan (Weem) and House of Menzies (Weem). Aberfeldy and the surrounding countryside is an increasingly
popular holiday destination and while The Kirk apartments would make superb permanent homes they would also be ideal as second homes with potential for obtaining extra income through holiday lets.

Notwithstanding the unspoilt rural location, the Kirk benefits from excellent communication links, being about 75 miles from Edinburgh and 72 miles from Glasgow. Trains run regularly from
Pitlochry (about 14 miles) to Edinburgh and London.

Outside
The Kirk sits in about 0.44 acres of ground which is enclosed by a stone wall and which has potential to be landscaped into gardens for the apartments.
