Through a co-ordinated approach, bringing together the investment, agency and professional teams, the City development team works closely with clients to provide considered market-facing development advice to ensure that the optimum scheme is delivered to meet the client's objectives.

Development is a continuously evolving process from the initial site purchase, on-going feasibility studies, construction and through to the letting and sale of the finished product. Throughout this process all the specialist departments have a fully hands-on role, ensuring that the best possible advice is provided. The team works closely alongside a number of leading architects, planning consultants, structural and M&E surveyors, and quantity surveyors to ensure that all objectives are achieved.

The City development team has an excellent track record and has been involved in many high-profile landmark schemes in recent times, including One New Change, 570,000 sq ft of office and retail accommodation (Land Securities); Moor House, 330,000 sq ft of office and retail accommodation (Hammerson/Henderson); Bishops Square, over 800,000 sq ft of office and retail complex (Hammerson); and the former Stock Exchange site - 125 Old Broad Street comprising 325,000 sq ft (Hammerson/ GE and Bank of Ireland) and 60 Threadneedle Street comprising 213,000 sq ft (Hammerson).
