Legal & General Property (‘LGP’), advised by Strutt & Parker, has secured a letting to Barclays Bank PLC at Midsummer Place Shopping Centre in Milton Keynes for its new look flagship branch.

The high street bank has taken 5,012 sq ft on the ground and 5,330 sq ft on the first floor on a 15 year lease.

The branch will open on Monday 19th October.

Midsummer Place totals 418,000 sq ft of retail space and is anchored by a 130,000 sq ft Debenhams department store, together with Zara, Hollister, Gap, H&M, Topshop, New Look and Apple. It has an annual footfall of over 16m. and is over 98% occupied.
