Abacus Developments, the development arm of the Sir Robert McAlpine Group, advised by Strutt & Parker and Edwin Hill, has let 25,000 sq ft at its recently completed warehouse development Waterway Park, Swallowfield Way, Hayes to two separate tenants.

Details of the lettings are as follows:

• Airport company BAA has taken Unit 5 totalling 9,623 sq ft on a 3 year lease, at a rent of £10.50 per sq ft. BAA Property Team advised BAA.

• Home delivery specialist Amtrak has taken Unit 3 totalling 14,795 sq ft, on a 10 year lease, at a rent of £10.25 per sq ft. Amtrak represented itself.

Ivan Scott, Partner of Strutt & Parker’s National Markets – Industrial Agency, comments:

“Located off the M4 motorway, Waterway Park provides 140,000 sq ft of new production and warehouse space with rapid access to Heathrow Airport, the M25 and Central London. With a further two units currently under offer and interest in the remaining four it is clear that the location and quality of the scheme is proving to be a popular choice with tenants, serving the West London market.”
