Patrizia announces new lettings at Chineham Park and sets new prime rent for Basingstoke

Patrizia has announced the completion of three new lettings at Chineham Park in Basingstoke.

Patriza has welcomed new occupier Bibby Financial Services at Forest View; Bibby is the UK’s leading independent invoice finance specialist and has agreed to lease 5,000 sq ft within the Grade A building. Digital drawing and writing solutions provider Anoto, an existing occupier within the park, has also signed up to take 5,500 sq ft within the same building to accommodate its expansion. Both tenants will occupy the space on 10 year leases at rents equating to £20 per sq ft, representing a new prime rent for Basingstoke.

InteliSecure, a US provider of critical asset protection, is another new arrival at Chineham Park and will occupy 6,700 sq ft at 1 Lindenwood; they have agreed a rent equating to £18.00 per sq ft on a 10 year lease.

Since its acquisition of Chineham Park in December 2014 Patrizia has completed over 240,000 sq ft of new transactions as part of its asset management strategy. It is also undertaking the speculative refurbishment of Chineham Gate, which will deliver 48,500 sq ft of new Grade A office space. The works are due to complete January 2017.

We anticipate that the delivery of Chineham Gate will facilitate further rental growth for Basingstoke”
