Situation
Slatich is situated towards the eastern end of Glen Lyon and approximately 4 miles east of the charming hamlet of Bridge of Balgie. This hamlet is renowned for its popular tea shop, post
office and primary school. These houses will all have outstanding views with wonderful scenery throughout both the summer and winter months.
Historically the lands at Glen Lyon have been in the Campbell clan for many generations, after they displaced the Macgregor’s, with their residences at Meggernie Castle (1 mile to the west of Bridge of Balgie) and Carnbane Castle, whose remains lie to the east of Invervar. Slatich is surrounded by some of Perthshire’s most beautiful countryside. Although the area is becoming increasingly sought after, Glen Lyon remains peaceful and unspoilt with an
abundance of wildlife such as red deer, red squirrels and golden eagles.
