Situation
The Kilchrenan Plots are located in a south facing elevated position on the edge of Kilchrenan with excellent views across Loch Awe.

Kilchrenan is a small West Highland village close to the western shores of Loch Awe. The village supports several hotels with well renowned restaurants, a village hall, local pub, local bus service to Oban daily and a well respected primary school. Secondary education is available in Oban. Every day requirements can be found at Taynuilt (6 miles).

Oban (19 miles) supports a wide range of shopping, recreational facilities, banks, building societies and professional offices. There are a number of primary schools, a high school, a leisure centre and a hospital.

Loch Awe is one of Scotland's most spectacular lochs. It is 25 miles long and runs from the village of Lochawe to Ford near the west coast to the south. Kilchurn Castle is a dramatic ruin, and one of Scotland's most famous and photographed castles. There are a number of islands in the loch including Innishail, which is the burial island of the Dukes of Argyll. Inveraray Castle, the seat of the Dukes of Argyll, is at the head of Loch Fyne, 17 miles to the south.

There is spectacular hill walking, climbing and mountaineering in the area with skiing at Ben Nevis and Glencoe. As well as on Loch Awe numerous other lochs and rivers provide both salmon and trout fishing combined with the opportunity for boating and water sports.
