Undertaking general day to day and strategic management of rural property portfolios for a wide range of clients, Catherine's work covers all aspects of rural surveying. Her role typically involves liaising with tenants, clients, contractors and agencies in overseeing rent collection, property repairs and improvements, advising on tenancy matters, Single Farm Payment and environmental schemes and woodland management including forestry programmes and grant funding opportunities. Additionally, Catherine has extensive professional work experience in connection with telecommunications, renewables, planning, valuation and rural land use.
Education & qualifications
Catherine studied for a Masters Degree in Rural Estate Management at the Royal Agricultural College at Cirencester in 2006/07 having completed a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Geography at the University of Southampton. After college, Catherine joined the LMD team at Chester before being invited to join the new team at Shrewsbury opening in September 2008. Catherine successfully completed the APC in early 2010 and is now a Chartered Rural Surveyor with MRICS status.
Catherine lives near Shrewsbury and enjoys walking, horse riding and travelling in both the UK and abroad.
