Based in the Cambridge office, Richard provides farm management, business consultancy and agronomy advice throughout East Anglia. He is a strong believer that attention to detail through every part of a farming business is the best way to deliver the highest farm gross margin. His family farm in West Norfolk where he is actively involved in the business.
Education & qualifications
Richard graduated from Newcastle University with an agricultural degree and is BASIS and FACTS qualified. He is BETA qualified which enables him to provide better advice for environmental stewardship and conservation schemes in conjunction with his agronomy qualifications. He also sits on various committees including the East Anglian branch of Institute of Agricultural Management, Cambs & Isle of Ely Agricultural Valuers Association and internally Strutt & Parker's Farming Research Group.
Richard lives with his wife and daughter in Swaffham Prior, Cambridge and enjoys a few rounds of golf and cricket in the summer and shooting and skiing in the winter.
