The surrounding countryside provides spectacular walking and riding opportunities as does the nearby Friston Forest and Seven Sisters Country Park.
The centre of the picturesque and historic Downland village of Alfriston is about 1.75 miles, and offers a good range of shops and facilities for everyday needs including a number of public houses and restaurants. The larger town of Seaford is about 2 miles with an excellent range of shops and facilities. There is a mainline train service to London from Berwick Station which is about 4 miles to the north.
From the centre of Alfriston, proceed out of the village in a southerly direction and having passed the main entrance to Deans Place Hotel on the left, continue for approximately 1.5 miles, and at the top of the hill having passed the entrance to High & Over car park on the left, Seaford Cottage is the second cottage on the right.Read all
