From the old A9, which his now closed, a track leads up to the cottage over which the house has a right of access. There are mainline railway stations at nearby Dunkeld and Pitlochry.

Dunkeld, the ancient capital of Scotland a popular modern tourist town provides a good wide variety of local shops and services and an 18 hold golf course. Pitlochry, 8 miles, is a popular and particularly attractive Victorian spa town, which caters for all basic needs and has a superb range of individual shops. Additional local attractions include the Pitlochry festival theatre, the Faskally Dam, the Salmon Ladder, 2 distilleries, an 18 hole golf course and several popular hotels and restaurants. Directions

Directions From Perth follow the A9 north past Dunkeld and across the River Tay. Continue on the A9 for a further 3 miles and turn right into Kindallachan, which is signposted. Immediately turn left into the village of Kindallachan and follow the road to the closed gates. This opens onto the old A9 (now closed and owned by Atholl Estates). Continue along for 250 meters to the track on the right hand side. This track leads up to Croftnascallaig.
