Veryan Cottage is a charming semi-detached period house, with four bedrooms, located in the pretty village of Seal, just outside the sought-after Kent town of Sevenoaks. The property is set in the heart of the village, and benefits from easy access to Sevenoaks town centre and mainline station, with its fast commuter services to London.

The cottage is a characterful and cosy home throughout, with well presented accommodation and period features, including exposed timber beams to some parts of the house. To the ground floor there is a welcoming sitting room with wood floors, those timber beams to the walls and ceiling, and a grand brick fireplace, which houses a woodburning stove. There is also a family room, and to the rear, a highly attractive conservatory. The galley kitchen is equipped with an integrated gas hob and oven, and provides space for all of the necessary household appliances.

There are three bedrooms to the first floor, all of which are impeccably finished, plus a family bathroom, while there is an additional bedroom to the second floor. The master bedroom features a shower area, with an electric shower and washbasin.

Outside

There is a small garden to the front of the house, while vehicular access is to the side, through a five-bar wooden gate, which leads to a driveway and the property’s double garage. There is a pretty garden to the rear, with a small and well maintained lawn, and beyond, an elevated seating terrace with a shaded area.

The garden is bursting with colour and life, with flowerbeds and established shrubs combining to create an appealing and relaxing environment.

Situation

Seal is a pretty village, located just to the north of the popular town of Sevenoaks. Within a short distance, there are a good selection of highly regarded state and private schools. Knole Park, with approximately 1,000 acres of parkland is close by and is one of the last remaining medieval deer parks.
