Thought to date back to the early/mid 18th Century, Rose Cottage is a detached, Grade II Listed four-bedroom cottage located in the popular village of Fenny Compton. The property provides spacious and flexible accommodation throughout which has been sympathetically modernised by the current owner, retaining as many character features throughout as possible.
The heart of the house is the kitchen/breakfast room with French doors to the garden, a range of base and eye level units with granite work surfaces and several integrated appliances including fridge/freezer, dishwasher, bins, Neff induction hobb and Neff oven. Stairs rise from the kitchen/breakfast room to a double bedroom with conservation rooflights. Further ground floor accommodation comprises a dining room with French doors to the courtyard, sitting room with exposed beams and an impressive inglenook fireplace with window and window seat, utility area and downstairs shower room/cloakroom. There is also an entrance hall with stairs to the first floor and under-stairs cupboard leading on from the sitting room.
On the first floor, there are two double bedrooms and the family bathroom. Stairs lead up from the first floor landing to the second floor where a further large bedroom can be found.
To the rear of the property there is a pretty and private cottage garden which is mainly laid to lawn with, floral and shrubbery borders, trees, patio area and a gate to the courtyard. There is also a pretty central courtyard garden.
There is a gravelled drive to the side of Rose Cottage and a covered car-port providing off-road parking.
