Listed cottage in historic city

6 Crow Lane has a handsome, weather-boarded façade with well-presented accommodation arranged over three floors, a large cellar and many historic features.

The accommodation flows from a beautiful sitting room, which includes a large window out to the front of the property as well as high ceilings, wood flooring and a stunning feature fireplace. The dining room is also a bright room, with a wood floor and fireplace.

To the rear of the property is the kitchen which offers integrated modern appliances, including an oven, hob and extractor fan, as well as a good amount of storage and worktop space. This is complemented by an old solid fuel range in the fireplace.

The first floor is arranged as two bedrooms with high ceilings, large windows and neutral decor, providing a calm and relaxing atmosphere. There is also a large family bathroom.

The second floor has a spacious dressing area leading to the third bedroom.

There is a patio area to the rear of the property, accessed via the kitchen, making an ideal space for a table and chairs and outside dining or entertaining.

The pretty garden is mainly laid to lawn with some mature trees, hedges and shrubs, and is a lovely space to relax in. There is also a useful outbuilding which doubles as a utility room.

There is on street parking by residents permit nearby.

6 Crow Lane is close to The Vines park and within the heart of the ancient city of Rochester, famous for it's Norman castle and cathedral. The city centre is probably best known for its associations with Charles Dickens and the attractive high street is lined with a selection of period houses dating in the main from Georgian and Victorian times. Rochester is known for specialist shopping and an active cultural programme.

There are good commuter services from the new Rochester station (about 350 metres) with journey times to London St Pancras from 36 minutes and other services to Victoria, Cannon Street, London Bridge and Charing Cross. The M2 (Junction 1) gives access to the motorway network and also links with the Bluewater shopping centre and Ebbsfleet International station.

From M2 (Junction 3): Exit and follow signs to Borstal via Rochester Road (B2097). Continue for just over 3 miles, before turning left into Vines Lane then immediately right into Crow Lane. The property will be found on the left near the next junction.
