Eisland Cottage is a charming traditional property which has been lovingly maintained and successfully extended. It is located in an idyllic location, yet remains convenient for all the local amenities in the nearby village of Forres, around 5 miles away.

The main entrance to the house is via the vestibule which leads to the inner hallway. To the left is the beautifully presented country style dining kitchen. The kitchen which comes with a comprehensive range of wall and base storage units and includes a Rangemaster, tiled splash backs, roof beams and ample space for a large table and chairs. The kitchen then opens up into the generously proportioned sitting room which is bright and airy with the focal point being the feature stone wall and inset wood burning stove. In 2014 a sun room was added, accessed from the sitting room. This has been a fantastic addition, with windows on three sides it floods the room with natural light and very much brings the outside in, with wonderful views over the garden. Going back to the inner hall there is a home office/study with understair storage, a large modern family bathroom and the master bedroom. With windows on either side of the room it has a very bright and airy feel and enjoys lovely views over the local countryside. There is a wc, shower/utility room located off the master bedroom.

The staircase in the hallway leads upstairs where the attic space has been developed into additional and very useful accommodation. The main landing is currently used as a sitting area and there are two attic bedrooms located on either side. Three large velux windows provide great views and light and there is a further large storage space.

The garden grounds are a particular feature of the property with mature landscaped grounds mainly laid to lawn and interspersed with colourful plant and shrub borders bounded by trees. The driveway has plenty of space for several vehicles and there is a detached garage as well as a number of other useful outbuildings which include a potting shed, workshop and wood store. In the summer months the pergola and sun terrace are the ideal place to relax and unwind and admire the gardens, pond and fountain.

Eisland Cottage enjoys a rural setting, with lovely open aspects of the countryside, close to the popular village of Forres, one of Scotland's oldest small towns. The area offers some of the most idyllic scenery in the Highlands. The local primary school is nearby and a host of outdoor sporting pursuits are readily available, including white water rafting and fishing on the nearby River Findhorn, shooting and stalking on nearby estates, and the Cairngorms National Park and ski resorts only 30 miles away. Inverness has a wide selection of shops and leisure facilities and Inverness Airport has regular daily flights to London, Manchester, Birmingham and other UK destinations.

From Inverness proceed along the A96 in the direction of Forres. At the sign for Mundole turn right, and at the end of the road at the give way, turn right again. Follow this road for approximately 5 miles passing Logie Primary School on your right hand side. On passing Alistair Young Engineering take the next driveway on the left hand side. Follow the track round and you will find the property directly ahead.
