Eastbury is a small and pretty village set amidst the stunning countryside of the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The village has a great village community with a popular pub and a village hall, while everyday amenities, including two village shops, a post office, doctor’s surgery and a chemist can be found in Lambourn, just over a mile away. The market town of Newbury, with its excellent choice of shops, restaurants and leisure facilities is 10 miles away. There are a number of primary schools within the local area, including at Lambourn, Ramsbury and Shefford, and there is a wide choice of secondary and independent schools in the area, including Pinewood, Elstree, Horris Hill, Marlborough College and Downe House. The area is well connected for transport, with easy access to the M4 and a mainline station in Hungerford offering direct services to London Paddington taking approximately 60 minutes.

Directions

Leave Newbury on the A4 towards Hungerford. Cross over the A34 and at the next roundabout take the second exit onto the B4000 towards Stockcross. Continue on this road for approximately 5 miles passing through Wickham Heath and at the T-junction turn right on to the A338. Continue into Great Shefford and by The Swan Inn turn left signposted to Eastbury. Follow the road to Eastbury, continue into the village and the entrance to the property will be found after a short distance on the right hand side, signposted The Old Farm. The entrance is through a wooden 5-bar gate.
