A charming 4-bedroom family home close to the town centre

Rothesay is a charming family home which is bright and welcoming and offers a versatile layout. On one side of the entrance hall the dining room and sitting room, with its open fireplace and beams, can be found; ideal rooms for formal entertaining. Another room across the hall, currently used as a ground floor bedroom, could easily be utilised as a playroom or second sitting room if desired. The hub of the home is the kitchen/breakfast room which is well appointed with painted cabinetry, smart worktops and a Rayburn oven. This in turn leads through to the family room which is a delightful space overlooking the garden and with a door giving access to outside. Also on the ground floor is a shower room and separate cloakroom. Upstairs the generous principal bedroom with its eaves storage can be found, together with two further bedrooms and a family bathroom.

Outside

The property is approached over a gravel driveway where there is ample space for parking in front of the house, and access to the garage. A pedestrian side gate leads down one side to the rear garden, which is private and secluded with mature trees and shrubs and some planted beds on the boundaries. A stone terrace and and an area of decking make the ideal spot for barbeques and outdoor entertaining. Stone steps lead down the edge of the lawn to the end of the garden where a self-contained office can be found, an added bonus for those wishing to work from home.
