A substantial and picturesque oast house with a beautiful mature garden. Just under 0.75 acre

Springham Oast is a substantial converted, single roundel oast house, which was sympathetically restored in 2008. The property is considered to be beautifully presented and provides interesting accommodation of some 2,868 sq ft (266 sq m) over two floors.

Features of note include beautiful double wooden front doors which open into the exceptionally spacious and welcoming entrance hall with a superb bifurcating staircase to one end, a feature fireplace in the drawing room which has doors leading out to the garden and a generous dining room, again with further glazed doors leading to the garden. In addition on the ground floor, there is a roundel kitchen/breakfast room which is fitted with a beautiful range of bespoke units and includes a breakfast bar. A utility room, boot room and cloakroom complete the accommodation on the ground floor. There is also a wine cellar with vaults.

Arranged over the first floor is a spacious principal suite comprising roundel bedroom with a feature high ceiling, together with a dressing room and bathroom. In addition, there are four further bedrooms, all with ensuite bath or shower rooms. There is a fully boarded attic which runs the length of the house providing extensive storage.

This property has 0.75 acres of land.

Outside

The property is approached via a gravel entrance drive which leads up to the house to a wide parking area. The garden provides a lovely mature setting for this superb period house. Immediately to the rear of the house, and running its length, is a wide paved terrace. The main garden is laid to lawn, bordered by some beautiful mature trees.

Situated on the far side of the entrance drive is a brick, weatherboard and tile garage with an attached car port. Situated to the rear of this building is a gardener's WC. In addition, there is a useful workshop and garden store. Located a short distance from the garaging is a picturesque pond overlooking which is a summerhouse and a wide decked terrace. The garden provides a lovely setting for this beautiful house. Just under 0.75 acre.
