Situation

8 Hartford Terrace is situated in a sought after position overlooking the cricket green in this tucked away location near the village pond in the much sought after village of Hartley Wintney.

Hartley Wintney is steeped in history. The village is famous for its many green spaces including the cricket green, orchard, golf course, two duck ponds and the many oak commons featuring the Mildmay Oaks, planted to restock the navy after the Battle of Trafalgar. It is also home to the Hartley Wintney Cricket Club which was formed in 1770 and whose green, on which the property sits, remains one of the oldest playing cricket greens in the country. The Club has an active social life with regular events in the pavilion, an annual charity cricket festival and Cricket Club ball on the green.

The village offers a good range of local amenities including shops, cash points, restaurants, post office, doctor and dental surgeries, churches, a golf course as well as a number of good state and independent schools within the immediate area.

Local and regional communications are excellent with access to the M3 (Junctions 4A and 5) within easy driving distance and the M4 at Reading (Junction 11). The mainline station at Winchfield provides a fast and regular service to London Waterloo in under an hour. More extensive shopping, educational and recreational facilities can be found in the neighbouring towns of Basingstoke and Fleet.
