Blakeney is one of the most popular villages on the North Norfolk Coast. It is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty surrounded by huge expanses of marshland and open skies. Originally a small port it is now a lovely quiet village with a beautiful quayside and brick & flint cottages lining the narrow streets. As well as the Blakeney Hotel and Manor Hotel, Blakeney has a supermarket and a good range of shops, restaurants and pubs, as well as a doctors' surgery and a primary school. The Georgian market town of Holt is 5 miles to the east with a vast array of boutique shops and restaurants. There is private schooling at Gresham's School for boarding and day children of all ages.

From Holt, head west on the A148 signposted to Kings Lynn for 1.5 miles and upon entering Letheringsett, take the second right hand turn onto Blakeney Road signposted to Glandford. Continue for 3 miles into Wiveton and follow the road round a sharp left turn at the Wiveton Bell. After 1 mile take a left turn at the T-junction followed by an immediate right onto the High Street and Claremont House is the first property on the left hand side.
