Directions

From the north

Take the A55 (North Wales coast road) bypassing Bangor, A487 for Caernarfon and Porthmadog. Leave a 487 at Bryncir on B4411 are for Criccieth. Where the road crosses the Maes (Green) in Criccieth and joins the High Street (A 497) turn left, then left again at the Memorial Hall. About 150 yards up the hill bear left by St Catherine’s Church along the signed private road. Tyn y Berllan is on the left.

From the east and south-east

From the Shrewsbury bypass (A5) Continue on the A5 towards Oswestry for about 5 miles, then at a roundabout turn left on B4396 for Knockin. Continue on B-4 396 as far as Penybontfawr. Then take the B4391 for Bala. From there take the A4212 for Trawsfynydd and A470/A487 for Porthmadog and Criccieth. In Criccieth high street turn right immediately after the Criccieth Spar shop on your left. About 150 yards up the hill turn left by Saint Catherine’s Church along the signed private road. Tyn y Berllan is on the left.
