Knapp Cottage is an attractive detached cottage constructed of Cotswold Stone under a reconstructed stone slate roof with recent additions to the rear.
Knapp Cottage has been extensively renovated by the vendor with works including a new roof along with a sizable extension to the rear which has allowed for an impressive kitchen/breakfast room and master suite above. The property has been sympathetically laid out with close attention being made to suit modern day living.
Knapp Cottage is set back with a gated gravel driveway and ample parking to the front. To the rear is a newly laid lawn, enclosed by a fence to either side with tall hedge at the end. There is a useful store next to the house.
Poulton is an attractive and popular Cotswold village with a shop, pub, village hall and church. Cirencester (5 miles) has an excellent range of shops and services. Other local centres include Fairford, Lechlade and Burford.
The main regional centres are Cheltenham, Swindon and Oxford, all of which are within daily commuting distance. About 4 miles from the A419 dual carriageway for access to junction 15 of the M4 at Swindon. Direct rail services to London Paddington from Kemble or Swindon stations, the latter scheduled to take from approximately 55 minutes. Ample local sporting opportunities including a number of golf courses.
From Cirencester take the A417 east as for Fairford and Lechlade. After about 4 miles enter Poulton, the road bends left passing the shop on your right. The road will then bend to the right, Knapp Cottage can be found on the left hand side, the driveway being after the small garage with wooden doors.
