Backing onto the River Wye, a delightful riverside four bedroom semi-detached home with deceptively spacious accommodation. The property features a large open kitchen/breakfast room opening onto the sitting/dining room, upgraded in recent years.

On the ground floor, the entrance hall leads to a front aspect study/studio and a further reception area open to the hallway with access to the rear garden. The main hub of the house is the bright and spacious kitchen/breakfast room opening onto a fabulous sitting/dining room with log burner and bi-fold doors leading out onto the rear garden. The kitchen has been refitted with a modern range of white units with stone worktops, fitted appliances and a large matching centre island unit with space for bar stools to eat. To complete the ground floor, there is a cloakroom and understairs cupboard.

On the first floor, the well-proportioned principal bedroom features built-in wardrobes and en suite bathroom. There are three further bedrooms on this floor, all with fitted cupboards/wardrobes and a family bathroom.

Outside

The property occupies a delightful tucked away location in a conservation area on the banks of the River Wye. To the front of the property is a gravelled driveway with a covered carport attached to the property offering parking for approximately 4 cars.

The private rear garden provides an oasis of calm and tranquillity. There is an initial patio area covering the width of the property leading onto an area of lawn with some shrub borders either side. Beyond the lawn is a wonderful raised decking area adjacent to the river and ideal for an evening drink or al fresco dining.

Wooburn Green is a village situated four miles south east of the town of High Wycombe. It neighbours Beaconsfield, Loudwater, Flackwell Heath, Wooburn Common and Bourne End. Communication links in the area are excellent with trains from Beaconsfield mainline station into London Marylebone (from 23 minutes at the time of writing) and Birmingham, while the M40 (J2) gives access to London, Oxford, Birmingham, Heathrow and the M25.

Nearby Beaconsfield offers a New Town with an excellent range of shops for day to day needs including Waitrose, Sainsbury’s and Marks & Spencer food hall. The New Town is popular with families and commuters, offering good schooling, amenities and lovely countryside in The Chilterns. The picturesque Old Town dates back to the thirteenth century with fine Georgian buildings and local facilities including convenience and independent retail stores together with a variety of restaurants and public houses.
