1 Silverdale sits in an elevated position in the small coastal village of Beeston Regis which sits a mile to the east of Sheringham. Beeston Regis has a local convenience store, hairdresser, service station and the popular Priory Maze with its lovely gardens and restaurant. The village is situated in between the National Trust woodland of Beeston and West Runton Heath and Beeston Common and enjoys access to the beach via the coastal path and steps at Beeston Regis Holiday Park.

Sheringham, 1 mile to the west has a wide range of amenities including shops, public houses, restaurants, schools, a theatre, tourist facilities and attractions and a fine cliff-top links golf course. Sheringham is the home to the historic North Norfolk Railway which runs a steam train service between Sheringham and the popular market town of Holt. Sheringham is also on the mainline rail link to Norwich with trains connecting to London and Cambridge. Leisure pursuits include sailing at Blakeney and Morston, bird watching at Cley and national horse racing at Fakenham.

Holt 7.5 miles to the west is renowned as a fine unspoilt Georgian Market Town with excellent shopping and restaurant facilities and is particularly known for the Holt Festival and as the home of Gresham’s public, preparatory and pre-prep schools with further schooling available in the area in both the state and private sector including excellent Primary schools at Kelling and Holt and Beeston Hall Preparatory School in West Runton.

The Cathedral City of Norwich 25 miles to the south has a vibrant business community and is the regional centre for shopping, leisure and cultural facilities. There is a mainline railway station to London Liverpool Street and an expanding airport to the north of the city.

Directions

From Norwich proceed north on the A140 Cromer Road. After about 18 miles, turn left signed Felbrigg and Sheringham. Continue for about 5 miles and at the roundabout, turn left signed Sheringham and Holt A148. After about 4 miles, turn right signposted Beeston Regis. Continue down the hill and the turning to the property can be found on the left hand side (before the T-junction).
