Windwistle is a delightful house overlooking the village green. The property offers well-proportioned reception rooms and has been modernised whilst retaining many of the period features. Upon entering the house there is a wide open hallway leading to a sitting room and dining room. The open plan kitchen is a particular feature, modernised and now incorporates bespoke oak wall and base units, granite worktops, integrated appliances, a large multi-fuel burner and bi-fold doors leading to the rear garden. A separate cloakroom, utility and storeroom completes the ground floor. On the first floor, a large landing leads to two double bedrooms that overlook the green with family bathroom. The two double bedrooms at the rear of the property have been joined creating a generous master bedroom with office/study area and ensuite bathroom. The master bedroom can easily be changed back into two separate double bedrooms. A generous loft area that, subject to planning, could be converted to provide extra accommodation. Within the grounds is a substantial barn. It is currently used as garaging, storage and a workshop, subject to planning, the barn could be converted in to further accommodation and utilised as an annexe to the main house. Parking is on the lane to the front with a single off-road space to the left of the house and garage parking in the barn.
There is a pretty enclosed walled garden to the rear primarily laid to lawn with mature borders and a small pond. The large garage/workshop is accessed from the road via single lane track running along the side of the property, with some modernisation and planning the barn may be converted to offer a home office or an annex. The garden wraps itself round the garage creating a separate vegetable garden with fruit trees and an original well. Garage parking for one car with driveway parking for another.
