A contemporary country home on the edge of a quiet rural hamlet

Situated in a rural location close to the Kent village of Ash, Pembroke House is a beautifully presented detached bungalow, with elegant styling and three bedrooms. The property has been extended and renovated to create a thoroughly modern and attractive living space, designed by renowned local architect Guy Holloway,

The main living space is the open-plan sitting area, dining room and kitchen. This L-shaped reception room has wooden flooring, a splendid brick-built open fireplace, bi-fold doors opening onto the garden and a large floor-to-ceiling window with an outlook towards the garden and neighbouring fields. The kitchen has stylish charcoal-coloured units, wooden worktops and integrated appliances.

There are three double bedrooms. The principal bedroom benefits from a dressing room and a luxury en suite bathroom; bi-fold doors open to the rear garden. A family shower room completes the accommodation.

Outside

At the front of the property, security gates open onto a sizeable block-paved driveway, providing plenty of parking space.

The front gardens are laid to lawn, with border shrubs and hedgerow.

To the rear, the garden includes timber decking, an area of lawn and a summer house with its own area of timber decking.

Situation

Pembroke House is situated in a rural location in the hamlet of Westmarsh. The village of Ash offers a selection of shops as well as public houses, primary schools and attractive church.

The Channel port of Dover and Eurotunnel at Folkestone both offer regular services to the Continent.
