Basic Payment Facts 2019 is our popular quick reference summary of the main rules on BPS eligibility, minimum claim sizes, crop diversification and greening, along with a helpful diary of important dates.
The BPS rules are broadly the same in 2019 as they were last year, which does offer farmers a level of continuity.
However, claimants will need to take care to avoid tripping up on tighter double-funding rules, designed to avoid growers getting paid twice for carrying out the same activity on the same land parcel.
