Spring field work is well underway and animals in many areas are back out in the fields. With livestock out of the buildings, now may be the best opportunity you have to carry out some safety inspections and ensure that you leave yourself plenty of time to get the work completed prior to the buildings being restocked in the autumn. Telehandlers are widely used for a range of tasks including filling silage clamps, moving fertiliser bags and mucking out so making sure they are safe to use is imperative.

This quarter, our update covers:

  • Asbestos
  • Electrical hardwire testing
  • Telehandlers
  • Three point linkages
  • Silage clamps
  • Vehicle loads and weights
