Fort Pendlestone Fort Pendlestone is a striking Grade II listed sandstone building with a fascinating history, having been used for a variety of purposes in its lifetime, including a corn mill, forge and textile mill. Fort Pendlestone occupies a prominent position on the banks of the River Severn, just 1.4 miles outside of the market town of Bridgnorth. The nearest train station can be found in Telford (11 miles).
