The competition if for pupils aged 5-16 years, and children from all over the UK are invited to submit designs for a card which is used by S&P agents.  The competition is in support of UK youth; this year it raised £2,833, bringing the total to nearly £29,000.

Rebecca has received a book token for £50 and the school has received a cheque for £500.  These were presented by Malcolm Leslie, Strutt & Parker’s Head of Country House, on Wednesday 9 December at Dollar Academy.

Malcolm Leslie says; “Needless to say that we are very pleased to see a Scottish winner of the competition and Rebecca’s card is both pretty and festive and I know that our clients will be very happy to receive one in the next few weeks.”

Alison Morrison – Head of the Prep and Junior School, Dollar Academy says; “Children love designing Christmas cards so it was super for so many of our Prep and Junior pupils to enter this national competition and feel they were contributing to charity as well.  For the overall winner to be a Dollar Academy pupil is fantastic.  Rebecca is a super talent and a really lovely girl and we are all very proud of her, and her Christmas card.”
