Strutt & Parker Appoints Gary Haskell to head up New Homes in the West Midlands

Q4 2017

Strutt & Parker is proud to announce Gary Haskell as the Head of New Homes in the West Midlands region, coordinating the teams across three well-established office bases in Ludlow, Shrewsbury and Chester.

With a 25-year estate agency career and previous roles in Carson & Company, Hamptons International, John D Wood and Gascoigne Pees, Gary brings with him experienced insight into the housing market across a range of disciplines.

Gary’s family moved to Ludlow in 2014 and have never looked back, having previously lived in Hampshire and Surrey. Gary says, “The people, the history, the stunning countryside wherever you look – this is what it feels like to be home.”

The Strutt & Parker New Homes division in the West Midlands is part of a network of 60 offices up and down the country, working with house builders, developers and landowners. The region boasts a diverse property market from city homes through to the welsh coastal retreats. Gary advises on a broad spectrum of new homes topics, from land acquisition, market research, conversions, planning permission and new build marketing.

He says: “Strutt & Parker has many long standing relationships with developers and landowners so I am very keen to continue to build on these relationships as well as embark on new ones.

“Key cities in the West Midlands are performing above the national average in terms of employment, business start-ups and transport links, fast becoming the destination of choice for companies looking to operate outside of London. These are major factors to consider when assisting developers in deciding to seek new opportunities in the area. The outlook for new homes growth in the region is very exciting right now.”
