Strutt & Parker is delighted to announce its support of two special events in aid of The Rugby Portobello Trust (RPT) this summer.

The leading local estate agent is sponsoring a special charity opera performance of Rossini Il Barbiere di Siviglia on 18 June to be held at Opera Holland Park. It will be attended by more than 1,000 supporters, coming together to raise money for local youth services which help over 1,200 young people living in the area every week.

Strutt & Parker is also sponsoring the Arundel & Ladbroke Gardens Summer Solstice Fete on 21 June, which will be held from 2 pm to 5.30 pm. The fair will include a BBQ, bar, music, tea & cakes, candy floss plus lots of fun for children with a bouncy castle, face painting and a lucky dip. Tickets cost £2 per person or £5 for a family and these include entry to the raffle which will have a host of wonderful prizes donated by local businesses.

The Rugby Portobello Trust is a youth charity nestled between Holland Park, Ladbroke Grove and Latimer Road – an area in the UK with one of the highest discrepancies between the ‘haves’ and the ‘have-nots’. RPT tried to close that gap by offering young people a chance to grow and flourish in a safe environment with services including alternative provision school, homework clubs, sports academies, youth clubs and housing provisions.
