Strutt & Parker is thrilled to announce its sponsorship of the Notting Hill Mayfest 2014 – a month long series of mixed cultural events running from 1 May to 31 May.
The festival celebrates local, emerging and internationally renowned talent and the history of the Notting Hill area with a traditional May Fair, orchestral, chamber and contemporary music, opera, lectures, choral performances, art, cinema and community children’s days.

The Notting Hill May Fair is one of Mayfest’s most popular events, taking place on Saturday 17 May 2014 from 1 pm to 5 pm at St John’s Church on Lansdowne Crescent. A typical village fair in the heart of London, it has been running for more than 25 years, and is packed full of fun for all the family including maypole dancing, a vintage coconut shy, face painting, a bouncy castle, a barbecue and cream teas. There will also be traditional stalls selling bric-a-brac, second hand books, jewellery, cakes, flowers and plants. There is even a Dog Show for local pooches and a hotly-contested Fancy Dress parade for the most impressive outfits.
