Strutt & Parker today announces the appointment of Toby Downes as Director in London, returning to the property consultancy after 13 years.

Toby’s role as Director will see him advising buyers and sellers across Prime Central and South West London.

Toby joins Strutt & Parker from Haringtons where he spent three years advising ultra-high net worth buyers in London. During this time Toby has built up an extensive contact book enabling him to strategically advise and support his clients across all stages of the transaction cycle.

Prior to working as a buying agent, Toby spent almost nine years at Savills, during which he helped form the firm’s Super-Prime Development team. He has a wealth of experience across the super-prime sector having worked closely on some of the most exclusive developments across the capital. Toby is also a Spears 500 ‘top recommended’ buying agent for the past three years.

Toby’s appointment follows that of Andrew Chambers as Director in London, and Minnie Stainrod as super-prime Lettings Associate. Earlier this year Claire Reynolds was announced as UK Head of Sales, and Gary Higgins as Managing Director.
