A YouGov survey recently found that out of those who switched to working from home during lockdown, 91% said they wish to continue this at least some of the time from now on. For those working from home, having a dedicated space is key – after all sharing a dining room table for two Zoom calls can be quite problematic. But a designated place also will allow you to work more productively without having everyday life as a backdrop or a distraction. One good tip is to locate your desk near an abundance of natural light. Doing this will help you feel connected to the outside world if you have endless calls you need to be on. Having the luxury of a home office also enables you to shut the door at the end of the day and switch from work mode to home mode.
