The site extended to approximately 14.87 acres (6.02 ha). The site was of a regular shape and
comprised a single field, which was in use as an orchard. Access to the site is via the south east
corner off Waldingfield Road. The site is located to the north-east of the market town of Sudbury,
which is situated approximately 14 miles to the west of Colchester.
