Hitachi Capital has agreed to lease Heritage Court, Thorpe Road in Staines in a deal that will see them occupy the entire building.
The business finance solutions company has signed up to occupy the 20,000 sq ft self-contained office building on a 15 year lease at a rent equating to £28.00 per sq ft.
The Grade A offices have recently been completely refurnished and the letting to Hitachi comes just six months after the works were completed.
Ed Smith, Partner in Strutt & Parker's national markets office agency said: "The speed of the letting and the rent achieved, which is the highest in Staines since 2009, illustrates the constricting supply pipeline which the Staines office market is facing. There is now no Grade A space remaining in the town and the only project on site is Rockspring and Exton Estates' Flow development on The Causeway, which will provide 60,000 sq ft of quality space. The two building scheme is due for completion in May 2013 and will be highly sought after."
Strutt & Parker acted as sole agents for the Landlord AXA Real Estate Investment Management, Hitachi were represented by Altus Edwin Hill.
Strutt & Parker and CBRE are joint sole agents for Rockspring and Exton Estates on Flow.
