May's General election delivered the youngest prime minister in
almost two centuries;
the first coalition government in 65 years and the first-ever
Conservative-Liberal
Democrat government. The political and fiscal challenges the
government faces are
equally unique in their scale. As we sit in anticipation in the
period of calm before the
storm, the way in which it addresses those challenges could have
serious implications
landowners.
This quarter we cover how the new coalition Government intends to
do business, upcoming increases to the Assured Shorthold Tenant
maximum rent threshold, planning for the historic environment, and
changes affecting properties with septic tanks.
