Strutt & Parker and joint agents Bray Fox Smith have secured a subject to planning disposal of 3.1 acres at Huntercombe Park, Taplow, Berkshire by Junction seven of the M4 Motorway between Slough and Maidenhead for a joint venture between Exton Estates and SWIPP.

Exton Estates and SWIPP purchased Wyeth Laboratories' former headquarters  in January 2011. The disposal of the residential land with potential for approximately 60 family houses to Taylor Wimpey marks great progress on the original business plan for the site. One of the largest names in housebuilding in the country, Taylor Wimpey has a proven track record in delivering quality new homes to meet local needs.

Simon Kibblewhite, Head of National Development at Strutt & Parker commented, "Fifteen competitive bids were received for this opportunity which demonstrates that despite economic uncertainty, there remains strong demand for sites capable of delivering family housing in the home counties with good transport links."

The residential element is one of two phases of redevelopment at Huntercombe Park which has also recently been granted planning consent for a 90,000 sqft head quarters office development.
