Alison Downs

Alison is skilled in Estate Management, striking a balance between strategic vision and analysis of what makes an Estate tick.  She is experienced in a wide range of disciplines with a proven track record of project management. 

Alison has a breadth of experience from working for large private Estates to Institutional landowners. She has extensive experience of diversification including project management of refurbishments spanning residential, commercial, hospitality and agricultural sectors. Alison has a particular interest in heritage buildings and delivering commercially viable schemes to ensure their long-term future. A number of the projects she has managed have incorporated sustainable technology, including ground and air source heat pumps and a district heating scheme.

Given the breadth of clients she has worked with, her starting place is always to understand client’s individual requirements. Getting to know the Estates she manages, and the people involved, are key to her approach.

Outside of work, Alison enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, swimming and exploring new places.
