Senior Associate Director, Head of Residential SalesSalisbury
What are your key areas of responsibility at Strutt & Parker?
Fiona joined Strutt & Parker in Salisbury at the beginning of 2014 with a keen interest in country houses and an eye for detail. She had spent several years working in the international property market, before settling in Salisbury. Fiona was then asked to be part of the Country House team in Yorkshire and moved to the Harrogate office in 2017 as an Associate. Fiona was born and raised in South Africa, but moved to the UK when she was 10 and spent her formative years in Lancashire, hence why a move back to the north of England was an exciting opportunity for her. At the end of 2019, Fiona was offered the opportunity to return to the Salisbury office and is now Head of Residential Sales; a move she was very pleased to accept as it’s an area and part of the world she loves and knows very well.
Fiona’s specialism is in the Country House market and has established a wealth of experience and knowledge in this sector. With an acute eye for detail and strong sales experience, she benefits from many years of agency experience, on a national and international level. After completing her Masters in Real Estate Management in Bristol, she worked in Cheltenham and London before embarking on a contract in New Zealand, where she worked in the international hotels sector for a global Real Estate Advisory firm in Auckland.
What do you love about the town/city you work in?
Being lucky enough to work in the historic and picturesque cathedral city of Salisbury, which is known for its stunning architecture and the tallest spire in the UK, Fiona feels that she lives in one of the most desirable cities in the country. The surrounding villages are made up of extremely pretty period houses and offer easy access to the city center. The rolling countryside of each of the five valleys around Salisbury all have their own unique charm and character. Salisbury strikes the perfect balance for many and also offers easy access to commuter links to both London and the West Country. Wiltshire is a beautiful county and Fiona is very proud to live and work in this part of the world.
