George joined Strutt and Parker's Farming Department in 1979, and moved to Newbury to jointly open their new office there in 1986. He is now the partner in charge of that office, and specialises in strategic farm and estate management, with particular emphasis on privately owned in-hand land. He has a personal interest in European agricultural economics and in UK property tax planning.

Education & qualifications
George qualified with an Honours degree in Agricultural and Forest Sciences from Oxford University, and subsequently as a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and also a Fellow of the Agricultural Valuers Association. He originates from a farming background, and is now responsible for the firm's farming consultancy throughout Central Southern England.
