Elegant proportions and wonderful views
The Studio is an elegant and very well-proportioned house, situated in the heart of the village. It is well-maintained and well presented the large kitchen/breakfast room immediately gives a great feeling of light and space. A utility room leads off to one side with a separate study that could easily be used as a bedroom as there is also a shower room to one side. On the first floor is a light, bright sitting room which has excellent southerly views. There are also two bedrooms and a bathroom on this floor. On the second floor is another bedroom with an en suite bathroom, off which leads a dressing room or additional bedroom.
Outside
The large single garage is integral to the house. To the rear of the house is a pretty courtyard with steps leading up to raised terrace. The garden is attractively planted and the upper terrace has espalier fruit trees trained over the walls.
Situation
Box is a popular village which lies between Minchinhampton and Nailsworth. Both have an excellent range of everyday shops and services as well as restaurants and bars. The main local towns include Cirencester, Tetbury and Stroud and the regional centres include Bath, Bristol, Gloucester and Cheltenham. Stroud and Kemble stations have rail services to Paddington, the latter taking from 71 minutes. Box adjoins Minchinhampton Common – a swathe of over 500 acres of National Trust owned open grassland. A good choice of both private and state schools locally, including various grammar schools. Plenty of local sports including Minchinhampton Golf Course.
Directions
From Tom Long’s Post in the middle of Minchinhampton Common, take the road for Nailsworth. After about half a mile fork left signposted to Box. Continue into the village and The Studio will be found on the left, shortly before the Church. What3words: ///memory.burden.vehicle
