Block of High Quality Commercial Arable Land and Ancient Broadleaf Woodland
The land is situated immediately to the North of Brinkley and south of Burrough Green. The arable land is generally well laid out with level or gently undulating fields that are regular in shape and of a good size.
The farm land is high quality being classified Grade 2 with soil belonging to the Ashley series, a clay loam over chalk. The land is fully drained and was enhanced by a new schemes in 2016 and 2018. The land has grown high yielding winter and spring drilled cereal crops as well as borage and canary seed.
There are blocks of woodland on both parcels, mainly stocked with broadleaf species. The largest of this is Park Wood, a lowland ancient semi-natural woodland that is designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI).
This property has 195 acres of land.
