Lynton Cottage dates back to the early 17th century when it was part of The Old Court House. Lying between the village pub and ancient church, footpaths lead straight into the beautiful countryside. Situation

Church Enstone is a peaceful and attractive North Cotswolds, Oxfordshire village close to Soho Farmhouse and easy reach of Daylesford. The village benefits from a renowned pub (the Crown) which has just been taken over by a very well respected landlord, and the picturesque village consists of old stone and thatched cottages with a beautiful 9th century Church, St. Kenelm’s. Just outside the village is Heythrop Park with its competition level golf course, spa, gym and swimming pool. The neighbouring village of Enstone has a Village Store, Primary and Nursery School and a garage/petrol station together with a regular bus service to Oxford and Chipping Norton. Chipping Norton has more comprehensive facilities including 3 supermarkets a good range of local shops, restaurants and pubs as well as a medical centre and community hospital.

Directions

From Oxford proceed north on the A44 west, about 6 miles beyond Woodstock turn right onto the B4002 towards, at the junction, turn left onto the B4030, after a short distance turn right towards the Crown Pub, Lynton Cottage is slightly right and up the hill.
