Outside

Corscombe Farm is approached by a private gravel driveway which leads to the house and a detached garage. There is ample space to park numerous vehicles. To the rear of the house, there is a good-size south facing garden which comprises areas of lawn, interspersed by established flowerbeds and shrubs. A terrace adjacent to the house provides the perfect space for al fresco dining and entertaining. A brick pathway leads through the gardens, creating a pleasant walkway, and there is a greenhouse as well as a vegetable garden with raised beds. An orchard is planted with Bramleys, a plum tree, pear tree, Old English Russet, cherry, fig and two walnut trees.

Outbuildings within the grounds include garaging, a Dutch barn, two stables and a 118ft x 60ft agricultural barn. Planning permission has been granted to convert one of the garages into a three bedroom cottage (planning ref. 1/D/13/001442).

The Land: Corscombe Farm has approximately 84.28 acres of land. Predominantly formed of pasture, with smaller parcels of woodland, the land is predominantly to the north and east of the house and includes Woodfold Hill. It has been managed sympathetically; the parcels of woodland comprising predominantly native trees which were planted at the turn of the millennium to create shelter belts and improve the diversity of the landscape. A pretty stream traverses the land, providing a haven for local wildlife and birds. An extensive system has been installed to provide drainage to the fields.
