The Old School is a very well-proportioned detached period house, in an excellent location on the edge of the village. The house would appear to be contemporary with the neighbouring church which was built in 1873. The front door opens into a double height hall which immediately gives a great feeling of space. There is plenty of room for a dining table if required. To one side is the kitchen/breakfast room and beyond this a spacious sitting room. A bright garden room, glazed on three sides, leads off. There is also a bedroom suite on the ground floor. On the first floor are two further double bedrooms and a second bathroom.

There are two entrances to the property, leading to plenty of parking space and a single garage. Situation

The Old School is tucked away in Cricklade Street. Poulton is a popular and active Cotswold village with a good pub, The Falcon, village hall and church. Cirencester (5 miles) has an excellent range of shops and services. Other local centres include Fairford, Lechlade and Burford. The main regional centres are Cheltenham, Swindon and Oxford, all of which are within daily commuting distance. About 4 miles from the A419 dual carriageway for access to junction 15 of the M5 at Swindon. Direct rail services to London Paddington from Kemble or Swindon stations, the latter scheduled to take from approximately 55 minutes. Ample local sporting opportunities including a number of golf courses.

Directions

From Cirencester take the A417 east as for Fairford and Lechlade. After about 4 miles enter Poulton and as the road bends left in front of the pub, fork right. The Old School is on the right hand side, set down Church Lane immediately after the church.
