Situation

Ewshot Lodge is situated on the edge of the village of Ewshot, on the Surrey/Hampshire border and close to the quintessential village of Crondall. Opposite is direct access to open countryside that’s dedicated to public access and goes on to link with the MOD land of Caesar’s camp. Crondall is within two miles and has a village shop, two pubs, an ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted-rated primary school, recreation ground and village hall.

The Georgian market town of Farnham offers an excellent range of boutique and high street shopping, recreational and educational facilities, a leisure centre and a good choice of state and private schools. The towns of Fleet and Odiham are easily accessible with the major centres of Guildford and Basingstoke slightly further afield.

The excellent private schools nearby include St Nicholas’ School, Edgeborough, Charterhouse, Frensham Heights, and Lord Wandsworth College.

Communications are excellent with Fleet’s mainline station, with services to London Waterloo within two miles, and the A31/A3/M25 providing access to London, Heathrow, Gatwick and the South Coast. Junction 5 of the M3 is six miles away.

Directions

We recommend you avoid Farnham town centre at the moment due to water main replacement work causing extensive traffic jams.

From London come along the Hogs Back and at the Shepherd and flock roundabout take the 3rd exit and head towards Hale and Aldershot. Cross two roundabouts and at the traffic lights by the church take a left onto the A287 signed Odiham and Basingstoke.

Follow that road all the way to the top of the hill (1mile) and past the Shell/ Waitrose garage. At the roundabout go straight and take your first right signed Ewshot. Go down through the village and pass the pub – you’ll find Ewshot Lodge on your left about 100m past the crossing for the Southampton to London oil pipeline works.
