Camperdown Farm Cottage is Listed Grade II and dates from the late 17th century. Many of its original features remain, including a large inglenook fireplace with open bread oven and stone mullion windows with some original leaded windows. The property was extended in the 1980’s, but is now in need of some updating.

Situation

Camperdown Farm Cottage is situated in the centre of the village of Darlingscott which is set 1.5 miles due west of the market town of Shipston-on-Stour. The town is well known for its wide range of shops and other local facilities. Communications are good with easy access to a number of local centres including Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick, Leamington Spa and Banbury. In addition, there is a regular rail service from Moreton-in-Marsh to London Paddington taking from 95 minutes.

Directions

From Moreton-in-Marsh take the A429 north towards Shipston-on-Stour. After the traffic lights at the Portobello crossroads take the first left and follow the road for about a mile and a half. At the T-junction turn left and then take the second turn on the right. Camperdown Farm Cottage will be found at the end of the lane on the left hand side.
